November 10-14, 2016 I found myself aboard Carnival Elation out of Jaxport in Jacksonville, Florida. The weather was awesome and I enjoyed each and every moment. The Conch Salad was good as usual and I ate my fill of Snapper with crab and rice. Beginning Friday, January 27, 2017, I will begin weekly posting.
If you follow me on conniesueblog.com you will know that my first book, My Journey To True Love is available in electronic form on Amazon and the paperback will be available next week. Love you all and I can't wait to get everything lined up.

Happy New Year - 2013
Happy New Year! I joined Baileys Gym and have made it through two weeks - Yeah me. Travel with Connie Sue website is up and running and logo, letterhead, and envelopes are ready. I have also set new benchmarks for my 8-5 at Lakeside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Each of my many roles have been addressed in my planning. The year 2012 ended on a down note as my mom Leola Greene was placed on hospice. However, at this writing she is eating little and talking much. I see the decline but am enjoying these final days with her. My girlfriend Elaine said she wishes her dad had talked up to the end. So I take comfort in our conversations though some hurt deeply. One night she said - "Connie Sue I want you to go on with your life, you are smart and I am so proud of you". That's it I've got to do this - Yes I Can is again my personal mantra. Well look forward to hearing my stories and experiences with this life. Remember! The July 4-8, 2013 Cruise to Nassau and Grand Bahamas! All is well!!

Cruise and Vacation Specialist
Guess what! I've started my own business as a cruise and vacation specialist. I have to confess that I'm very excited about being able to help people find and enjoy their dream vacations.
By the way, I'm associated with Cruises & Tours Unlimited, one of the nation's largest travel companies, so I have access to everything we need to find the best cruise or vacation you could possibly think of at a fantastic price.
So, next time you start to daydream about taking a cruise or going on vacation, you can look at my website http://travelwithconniesue.outsideagents.com/ or, just give me a call at 1-866-276-6669! Also, please feel free to tell anybody and everybody that you know that you have a "friend in the travel business" that will take great care of them.
Talk to you soon!

All About Passports
My first experience with a Passport was when I was about five years old. My stepfather was from British Honduras and I was always so intrigued with his passport. I was born in Perry, Florida but soon thereafter moved to Naples, Florida. Aunt Anita came to visit every year and was forced to answer my many queries about Honduras and the little green book (passports were green until the U. S. Bicentennial Celebration when they were changed to blue). As she explained the purpose of the book was to allow her to come and visit in America. I asked do I need one of those to come see you? She wasn’t quite sure. I remember her saying you Americans can probably go wherever you want.
Maybe this was the beginning of my fascination with travel. Maybe or maybe not, however I do know that I wanted one of those passport books. As I continued to develop Bahamas Travel with Connie Sue I was still of the opinion that all sophisticated people would have a passport. Imagine my disappointment when I read the article, How Many Americans Have a Passport? Matt Stabile, (2010). http://www.theexpeditioner.com/2010/02/17/how-many-americans-have-a-passport-2/
What then is the reason we needed passports? Discovery Channel asserted, “Passports are an internationally recognized form of identification and are required for travel between countries”. Essentially, a passport allows the bearer to travel from country to country and grants protection to the bearer. http://curiosity.discovery.com/question/why-passports-are-needed
Tikitrips.com noted: “…passports must be valid; passports must be good for at least six months after your return date home; passports must be in your legal name and passports must match the name you put on your ticket/travel documents and finally passports must have at least one blank page left in them…” http://www.tikitrips.com/passport.htm/
Amazing how this childhood fascination with passports has led to the vision of Bahamas Travel with Connie Sue.
Vision: A passport in every hand and many enjoyable trips to Bahamaland!
